Our children's emergency room is the first and only of its kind on the Treasure Coast; it offers:
- 10 pediatric-friendly treatment rooms
- Board-certified emergency physicians trained in pediatrics
- Board-certified pediatric subspecialists
- Child-sized equipment, gowns, IVs, airway management tools and other medical necessities made specifically for children
- Pediatric triage
Should your child need to be admitted to the hospital for further treatment, we provide comprehensive pediatric services. This includes access to our pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) where we care for seriously ill and injured children.
Kid-friendly emergency care
We know that a visit to the emergency department can be scary for children, so our medical staff has worked hard to create a calm, nurturing environment. We have child-friendly décor and furniture, colorful artwork and an aquarium. We also understand that children have special needs when it comes to emergency care, so we tailor our bedside manner accordingly.

Learn how to save a life with the two simple steps of hands-only CPR.<br><br>Step 1, call 911 for help.<br>Step 2, push down hard in the center of the chest at a rate of 100-120 times per minute until emergency medical services arrive.<br><br>This hands on training is free, but it is NOT a certified course, and instructions provided do not include infants and children.
